RedSky padded about his forge, grabbing some diamonds here, pressing them into soft hot gold there. He wasn't paying much attention to anything else, as he rarely did when he was working. As RedSky finished up the necklace studded with ten diamonds, he looked up at the paling sky and grinned. The clouds were thin and wispy, and the only wind was the quietest of a whisper blowing through the tops of the trees. Tonight was going to be a cold one, he could tell, but it would be a great night to hang out at the Campfire and watch his sister and other talented young cats preform. RedSky walked back over to his latest accomplishment and hung it on a hook in a wooden barrel full of icy water. The necklace steamed as it hit the water, but RedSky hardly noticed, he was to busy thinking about what he would be doing tonight.
A cat had been standing outside of RedSky's forge for nearly fifteen minutes now. She had been clearing her throat and speaking up, doing whatever she could think of to get the smith's attention. "Excuse me!" the cat yowled again, and finally the smith looked up in surprise. "Finally!" the cat snapped, "I've been standing here for nearly the whole time you've been working on that necklace and you haven't bothered to look at me until now!"
RedSky just chuckled and shook his head before turning back to the necklace. It was now hard and complete, as he pulled it out of the barrel the cat outside the forge gaped at him.
"Excuse me!" the cat snarled, padding into the forge. "I have been st-!"
"Unless you want your fur burned off, I'd stay where you are!" RedSky meowed, pushing the cat back out of the forge with his tail.
Exasperated the cat didn't know what to do, she decided to continue being persistent. "Please Thy Master Of Shadow!" This seemed to get the smith's attention. "I simply need a bangle repaired for tonight!" She held out a bangle that had been snapped in three places.
"Sorry!" RedSky said grinning. "I'm closed!" And with that he closed the 'door' to his shop, shutting out the she-cat.
((Anyone wanna RP the she-cat?))
